MURRAY DOUBLE EARNS POINT FOR REDS

Cliftonville staged a dramatic late revival to secure a share of the spoils from this visit to Windsor Park.

The Reds had trailed to a couple of early first half goals but fought back in the final quarter-of-an-hour.

Aaron Burns fired Linfield into a sixth minute lead from the spot after Andrew Waterworth had been upended in the area.

Then, on 27 minutes, Jamie Mulgrew doubled Linfield's lead after getting on the end of Burns' cross to head beyond Peter Cherrie.

That was how it stayed until 15 minutes from time when substitute Martin Murray - a replacement for Jay Donnelly just three minutes earlier - connected with a Joe Gormley pass before lifting the ball over Ross Glendinning despite the attentions of Sean Ward.

And, dramtically, Murray struck again when touched home the close range equalizer after Gormley had delivered the ball from the left.
