ALLEN GRABS BRACE AS GLENS BAG FRIDAY NIGHT FOUR

Glentoran produced a clinical performance to knock four goals past Ballinamallard United at The Oval.

The Glens needed just four minutes to move in front when Curtis Allen directed a header past Fergal Murphy after Steven Gordon had flicked on a Fra McCaffrey cross.

Gordon got on the scoresheet himself just after half-an-hour had elapsed with a back post finish following a Marcus Kane cross from the byline.

Allen doubled his tally on 57 minutes with a lob over Murphy after Jordan Stewart had provided the final ball.

Then, with 20 minutes remaining, Allen turned provider to tee up McCaffrey to complete the scoring.
